吉他谱屋

jhon 5是本人继Dimebag之后最崇拜的吉他手之一,他也是新生代吉他演奏者的另一面旗帜,另类的音色,犀利的指弹,以及对各种音乐风格的理解,造就了这样一个金属怪胎.

他出生在MICHIGAN 的GROSSE POINT.家里很富裕.

JOHN 5从小受到JIMI HENDRIX的影响,拿起吉他演奏,他小时候喜欢看HEEHAW的节目,里面有很多班卓琴的演奏,还有什么曼陀铃以及他爸爸的影响,他是个地道的乡村音乐迷,而且我不知道他原来这么喜欢指弹吉他.

他小时候喜欢很多古怪的拨弦方式,还学会了 CHIKEN PICKING,他7岁的时候开始上课学习演奏.

后来他和MEGADETH的鼓手CHUCK一起为了音乐搬到洛珊基,从小富裕的他地一次离开家,寄宿在别人家中,笨的被别人偷了钱包,不过这个小子还挺执着,没有哭着跑回家,居然又搬到福利院去住。

后来加入乐队:ALIIGATOR  SOUP,他的乡村情节被ROCK漫漫的异化,开始演奏一些不错的SOLO,在洛城慢慢有了点名气, 不过转折点是这个:

当时很红火,红的发黑的WHITE SNAKE 乐队在演出,JOHN 5的乐队主唱有点兴奋过了头,把头给不小心弄出血了,然后退到后台,JOHN 5为了救场,开始了一段即兴的精彩SOLO,就被WHITE SNAKE乐队的BASS手看中了,加上JOHN 5很便宜的价格,成为了一个很出名了录音棚的很便宜的录音工人,后来还给  JOHN WAITE   和 WILSON他们做过录音,JOHN当时真的很便宜,几乎是几美金或者一包暑片就工作.

后来他成为MANSON第5个吉他手,于是改名字叫 JOHN  5.名气越来越大.

至于他和MANSON闹这个事情,也是很偶然.当时在2003年的NAMM乐器展上(全球最大的乐器展啊),JOHN 5当时还一直是依班娜GAX 系列的使用者,不过却一直没有见过自己的名字出现在依班娜的展台上,反之在FENDER的展台上,看见自己的名字和那些神一样的人放在一起:SRV 还有Clapton那个级别的.他很兴奋,而FENDER愿意为JOHN 5出一个签名款,J 5很兴奋啊,立即全身投入他的签名TELE的制作中,因为他觉得只有那些超级大师才能在FENDER这样的LOGO下出签名款,可是 MANSON对这琴的外形一直不满意,无疑给J 5泼了盆冷水,MANSON甚至侮辱说那是乡村吉他,说J 5是个乡巴佬,实际这个是心理作用,TELE确实一直是做乡村音乐用的,几十年都是这样,已经是一个文化传统,J5很灰心.再加上他当时有一些个人作品问世,很多乐评人去煽风点火说J 5是一个被低估的大师,在MANSON乐队中永远不能充分表现自己,2003年那段时间本来也是MANSON的低潮期,MANSON发胖的身体和开始衰老的嗓音,标志这个乐队已经慢慢衰弱, 2003年ROCK AM ING现场 MANSON口干舌燥情况下居然对J 5 大打出手,2人于是一起对打和辱骂,导致The Beautiful People 演完后整个现场被迫停止,MANSON以为这个事情是不可饶恕的,J 5也已经心灰意冷,于是正式离开MANSON,随后出版自己的个人吉他专辑。(转)
