BIGSHOT EFX是一款True Bypass的效果环路切换器，它可以同时控制两条并行的效果环路并按照你的要求开关其中任意一条。这意味着那些本身带有噪音的踏板效果器或是那些非True Bypass的效果器（TS-9等非True Bypass踏板在非工作状态会使吉他信号损失很多而导致吉他原音的改变）所带来的音色BUG将完全消失。另外，当某一条效果环路处于“待机（STANDBY）”状态时，你可以开关这条效果环路中的某些效果器以便准备再度开启时发出需要的音色。有了EFX，再也不用在诸多的踏板效果器的切换时跳吉他手特殊的“踢踏舞”了。如果你再在效果环路中加入一块BigShot PB1缓冲器，那么即便你在一条效果环路中串联再多的单块也不会有明显的噪音。那些喜欢静音校音的乐手也可以把校音表接在第二个效果环路上。
