相信经常上E.Mule拉BASS教材的朋友会对这个牌子比较熟悉,多才多艺的法国Bass手Pascal Mulot就是它的爱用者.之前一直有不少朋友要求做一个介绍,这次就简单写一下.

Status Graphite成立于1981年,到现在已经是26年的历史,虽然在许多动辄几十年到上百年的乐器制作公司中它的时间不长,但是在欧洲当地有着比较好的声誉,无论是人性化的订做服务,还是良好的性价比.不过,相信冲着它而来的人更多的是看中了它的"Handcrafted".采用优雅的外型设计,大方的金属配置,漂亮的木材都是它的卖点,当然,它的声音也有着良好的品质保证.不过稍微可惜的是,英国属于一个较为保守的国家,所以,Status在欧洲之外的地区一般比较少有出售,而他们的订制服务也多数以当地的客户需求为优先.在Status Graphite的产品体系中,主要分为The Charger,Smartbass,S2 Classic,Stealth,Kingbass,Vintage,B-2,Electro-3.


The Charger: 为Jhon Rhino Edwars制造,更多的是标榜了他的"狂野"的风格.采用了革命性的石墨Neck和石炭指板,给琴提供的稳定性和耐用性比一般的木头Neck要强化了许多.对于长期需要在外巡演的乐手,可以省却了许多修理Neck的时间和不必要的麻烦.为无头琴重新设计的Hardwood琴身有着良好的平衡性.另外采用了在Ibanez BTB系列贝司中最常见的德国Neutrik插口锁.主动/被动切换电路搭配两个Jazz款单线圈拾音器.另外还可以有LED指板灯订做.

Smartbass:完全的个性化订制Bass.提供右手款的5弦和4弦.这个也是Status最经典的款式和最受乐手欢迎的款式.

S2 Classic:最初的设计原型是1981年款的Status.最大特色就是那个在主动电路上出色的Midrange.和我们常常接触的Bartolini电路的250HZ到1000HZ的切换不同,它采用的是300HZ到3000HZ的切换.

The Stealth:设计意念和Basslab非常像,由于采用的是一整块的合成材料制作,所以琴体的重量非常轻,平衡性也很好.如果喜欢比较"现代"一点,或者电子味道更加浓厚的乐手估计会比较喜欢.而且由于是合成材料,所以在木头制作的Bass中经常出现的"死音"问题会明显减少.

KingBass:英国著名的Slap狂人Mark King拿起它的时候,也就是它的成名之时.完全根据Mark的要求进行开发,漂亮的制作,以及Mark最喜欢的LED灯都相当的醒目.采用通颈设计...当然,也是一支合成材料为主制作的Bass.不要说没有木头的Bass就不是Bass,去好好听听Level 42的作品吧.

Vintage:看名字和设计都知道,属于比较复古的琴.在仿照Fender P Bass的基础上加入了一定的新元素.让琴少了一些美国式的简单和粗旷,而多了些英国式的优雅.Vintage系列的琴全部是采用了Alder的琴身,另外搭配的仍然是Status最常用的石墨Neck和指板.最值得一提的是:在P BASS的Body Cut上做出了深切的改进,可以让你在高把位的弹奏更加的自由.而拾音器和电路则提供了几种不同的搭配进行选择.

B2:它绝对是一款摇滚利器.虽然它的Body有着Gibson的影子,Head有着Warwick的痕迹,但是对于一个希望Rock到底的乐手来说,这又算得上什么?强力输出的拾音器搭载的电路也不简单,中频扫频的范围是可怕的200HZ到10KHZ.同时,采用的指板品数是26品,而上面的罗马数字泛音品也显得和许多泛泛无奇的圆点泛音品不同.

Electro-3:采用了半中空的琴体设计,Piezo和主动拾音器的搭配.采用了以温暖著称的桃花心木.为了让琴的声音更加的饱满,所以它采用的Body的设计是非常非常的厚.
