1972年 Jerry花了850美刀买了一把Doug Irwin做的吉他（即那把001）同时，又从Doug Irwin那儿订了一把CUSTOM的，当时Jerry的银色面板的Fender Twin Amp 成为他音色的核心部分，从70年代晚期到93年Jerry都没再用过Fender 的放大器和喇叭，取而代之的是JBL的D120/E120的喇叭配McIntosh的放大器(采用classA电路,而不是Fender常用的classA/B电路)
1973年,鳄鱼,同年5月Jerry收到了第一把Doug Irwin为他CUSTOM的第一把吉他‘wolf’ 得名于上面贴有狼的图案

９５年７月９日 在芝加哥的Soldier Field演出之后，“lighting Bolt被卖掉
９５年的一次演出中ROSEBUD中途出了状况，ＪＥＲＲＹ拿出了老伙计ＴＩＧＥＲ，完成了生命中的绝响．．．
